Publishing
Robin Brass Studio Inc. is a small Canadian publishing
house producing primarily non-fiction books for the
Canadian market. While our list includes much military
history, we are interested in a variety of subjects,
including Canadian history; military, local, cultural and
technological history; natural history; biography; memoirs;
and other non-fiction areas. While our books often contain
illustrations and photos, they are primarily books to read,
not coffee table books.
Guidelines for submissions
Please submit an outline or proposal
initially, not a complete manuscript. Submissions
should include not only a clear explanation of what your
book is about, but also who the intended audience is
(general, children, academic, etc.). We need to know your
background in the subject and your previous writing
experience. Initial submissions can be made by mail or
e-mail.
PLEASE NOTE: OUR ANNUAL
OUTPUT IS SMALL AND WE ARE ACCEPTING FEW SUBMISSIONS AT
PRESENT.
Design and production services
Robin Brass Studio designs and produces
books under contract for other publishers and also for
organizations that wish to put out a well-designed and
professional book but lack in-house expertise in book
production.
